50 years of CWURC.

The Camp Washington Urban Revitalization Corporation (CWURC) is proud to celebrate 50 years of community revitalization. Since 1975, CWURC has worked to strengthen the Camp Washington neighborhood through housing, business, and community development initiatives.

To mark this milestone, we invite you to join us during the week of October 20–25, 2025, for a series of events highlighting our community’s achievements and future vision.

These events will offer opportunities to:

  • Connect with neighbors and partners

  • Explore upcoming projects

  • Celebrate and welcome new businesses to our vibrant and quirky neighborhood

Event Schedule:

  • October 21st: Neighborhood Tour

    Please join us as we commemorate this milestone with a special Neighborhood Walk showcasing the FaceLift Program projects throughout the Camp Washington Business District. This event will highlight the progress made in our community while looking ahead to the next 50 years of revitalization. We would be honored by your presence as we celebrate this important chapter in our history.

  • October 22nd: Coffee and Conversation in the Courtyard

    The Camp Washington Urban Revitalization Corporation (CWURC) invites you to join us as we celebrate our neighbors, partners, and local businesses with a morning of coffee and conversation.

  • October 23rd: Ribbon Cutting Series

    The Camp Washington Urban Revitalization Corporation (CWURC) invites you to join us for a special day of celebration in our neighborhood business district.
